Noelia Lorenzo Monge, mostly known as Noelia (born August 31, 1979 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican pop singer and actress who rose to fame in 1999; her first appearance (debut) on Puerto Rican television was in Voces en Función on that same year. During her career she has had nine Latin Billboard Top 40 hits, and has eighteen worldwide gold and nine worldwide multi-platinum certified albums, along with one RIAA-certified Gold record in the United States. Aside from her musical career, Noelia has guest starred in multiple Latin American TV shows, recently beginning to work as an actress.

Noelia is the first daughter of Puerto Rican singer and actress Yolandita Monge and Alfredo Lorenzo from Uruguay. Noelia showed interest in music since she was a child. Being the daughter of Puerto Rican singer Yolandita Monge, it wasn't strange for her to pursue her mother's interests. In 1998, she started working on her first full-length album titled Noelia which produced several hit singles. She has continued to record several albums and has toured through Latin America and Europe. During her career, she has also won several awards like Latin Billboard's and others, as well as having some of her albums certified gold and platinum. In 2007, she released her sixth full-length album titled Volverte a Ver. She is also working on her first English language album. Noelia has been romatically involved to show-biz personalities throughout her career. She had a four-year relationship with former MDO member, Alexis Grullón, who's presently working as the road manager of her mother, singer Yolandita Monge. In 2004, she also had a brief relationship with rapper Yamil, with whom she worked on the album Melao. As of 2007, she's engaged to Mexican producer, Jorge Reynoso, who is also managing her international career. In the summer of 2007 a video was leaked in the internet that shows who is allegedly Noelia and an unidentified male having sex, with presumably her male partner holding the camera. After some denial at first, it was subsequently confirmed that the person in the video was indeed Noelia, as she accused her step-father Topy Mamery of putting the video on the web (in her point of view) in his ever-continuing quest to defame her . Mamery shot back by alleging that he has nothing to do with the controversy and that he was going to investigate it. Also, after first denying any participation in the video, it was later confirmed that the man appearing in the video is Noelia's ex-boyfriend Yamil, which would make the video more than a year old. This scandal has dominated the Puerto Rican media from its beginning. After a "months long investigation", Mamery accused Noelia's current boyfriend, Jorge Reynoso, of registering the now-defunct domain www.noeliashop.com in which it was proclaimed that Noelia was the new Queen of Porn, an allegation made purely based on a WHOIS query which Reynoso denies . He turned the findings of this video to the FBI . Both daughter and mother appeared on Spanish talk shows. Noelia, appearing on Cristina Saralegui's show accused Yolandita of taking Noelia to swinger clubs when they were living together in the United States and Yolandita blamed Noelia's behavior on the fact that she allegedly is bipolar on Don Francisco's show .
